We wish to convey our latest position on COVID-19 to all our customers within the UK. We have reacted and enabled all the government guidance in order to protect our employees and those who work with us.
The senior management team have formed a project team to continuously monitor all government updates and to implement all required changes to our working practices.
Our priorities are and will continue to be:
1. Keeping our employees safe
2. Help to slow the spread of the virus
3. Maintain business continuity for our staff and our customers
We have enabled two thirds of our employees to work from home and have put in place multiple protocols to ensure social distancing for those who continue to work on our sites. The strictest controls are in place and under constant review to manage the wellbeing of our employees.
Currently the supply chain is operating normally, and the availability of products is good.
As this situation develops, we are seeing signs of high demand on certain product lines and we are working harder than ever to meet the daily needs of our customers.
Current lead times remain unchanged, however, we are no longer able to provide overnight or same day deliveries. We will continue to monitor the transport situation and will keep you updated.
For now the construction industry remains active and is key for the government providing the social distancing advice is in place. We have several critical projects that we must supply in line with the government advice.
